Courses and Training

This describes the terms of service in relation to the services offered by We Freedive (Thailand) Co., Ltd. ("We Freedive"). The We Freedive classroom and shop is referred to as We Freedive HQ. 

Course Times

  • End times in any schedules are approximate and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Included

Training with We Freedive includes - unless explicitly agreed - the following:  

  • All basic freediving or snorkel equipment unless noted otherwise in the course description. Please note: It is advised to bring mask, snorkel, wetsuit, and snorkel or freedive fins if owned.
  • AIDA education materials in AIDA courses
  • Water and hot drinks at We Freedive HQ
  • Water on the boat trips
  • Pool entry fee for pool training
  • Boat transfer and snacks for open water training

Excluded

Training with We Freedive excludes - unless explicitly agreed - the following:

  • Transfers to We Freedive Centre and Chalong Longtail Pier
  • Meals
  • Swimming costumes and towels
  • Any additional training required to achieve certification requirements after the end of a booked training period
  • Advanced freediving equipment like monofins, nose clips, fluid goggles, safety lanyards, etc...

Prerequisites

By booking a course with We Freedive, I confirm that I understand that swimming is a basic survival skill. I furthermore confirm that I can comfortably swim at least 200 metres non-stop, as is required for all in-water training.

Some courses require prior certification by recognised freediving agencies or other qualification. Proof for both certification and qualification needs to be produced before before the beginning of any training.

If course prerequisites are not met at the beginning of any scheduled course or training, we will try to accommodate by offering training adequate to your current level of qualification or certification. Meeting course prerequisites is your responsibility. Failure to meet the prerequisites for any booking does not warrant a refund.

Certification

Certification is only possible to the level achieved during the course, which may or may not be the same as the maximum certification level of the course.

Certification fee is included in the course price. If certification is to be issued for multiple agencies, additional fees may apply.

Availability and Bookings

Bookings will only be confirmed upon payment of a non-refundable booking fee / deposit of at least 30% of the course fee. This booking fee is part of the invoiced amount. Any remaining balance is due on the first day of the training before 12:00h noon.

Fees for last-minute bookings, less than 24 hours before the beginning of the training, are due in full at the time of booking.

Accommodation - if explicitly included in any packages or training - is subject to availability.

We will do our best to accommodate any re-scheduling of confirmed bookings. Re-scheduling is possible until 48h before the beginning of the course. Most of the time, re-scheduling will be possible free of charge, but at times, additional cost may incur. Training sessions may be postponed up to twelve months from the originally confirmed date.

We Freedive (Thailand) Co., Ltd. can not be held liable for adverse weather or sea conditions. We will schedule training sessions to avoid bad weather where possible.

Refunds for confirmed bookings are issued at the sole discretion of We Freedive (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Bookings are for training, not certification. Failure to achieve a skill level necessary for certification to any level is not a reason for a refund.

Agencies

For agency bookings, any and all course fees are due in full at the time of booking.
